How to improve the efficiency of design and survey works in the design of road repair and overhaul

The article reviews the state of the question of the organizational and methodological aspects of the design of roads repair and overhaul. Attention is drawn to the necessity for pre-project roads survey, the purpose of which should be a realistic evaluation of their transportation and operational condition, which will allow a development of more reasoned technical specifications for repair and overhaul. The author also explains the necessity for development of updated edition of "Instruction on survey and design of the repair and overhaul of roads".
