The article considers a conception of "adress plan", intended for regulation of wide variety of road data within the confines of various information systems used by road engineers. This would help the more full data usage during the whole road life cycle. Terms, proposed in the article ("path", "span", "adress plan", "axis", "numbering scheme of junction elements") have been aprobated in a number of projects of designing of GIS for roads implemented by IndorSoft. This terminology has been included in the proper organization standard of IndorSoft. Nowadays on the basis of this standard there are works to regulatory and technical consolidation of this treminology at the level of the national standard (GOST).
