Using of information modeling during preparing of the developed design and production documentation

DOI: 10.17273/CADGIS.2015.2.3

  • D.S. Sarychev, Ph.D., chief innovation officer (CINO) of IndorSoft LLC (Tomsk, Russia)

The article discusses the methodology of documentation development at stages "Developed design" and "Production" as a single business process using information modeling technologies. The methodology of increasing the automation level at these stages by means of re-use of design models is proposed. To increase in efficiency of project activities, shift in priorities from the draft development to the model development is proposed, which is expected to enable to increase productivity with the use of automated machine control systems.
