The article provides the ways of solving the problem of achieving accuracy in defining of altitudinal component of departmental geodetic control network on the 10 mm level of the 1977 Baltic height system. Particular attention is paid to the aspects related to the association of departmental geodetic control network stations with the 1977 Baltic height system using global navigation satellite system.
