IndorSoft Company's BIM solution for road design and maintenance

The article justifies the importance of using information modeling technology for road design, construction and maintenance automation. Complex solution based on the modern Russian software proposed by IndorSoft Company are described. The article shows the supporting of basic BIM concept postulates by this solution: parameterization, collaboration, conflicts detection and data exchange possibility using standard formats during road life cycle. The article considers existent and new functions of CAD system for road design IndorCAD 10 and GIS IndorRoad 10 that implement requirements for road information modeling technology.
