The theme of the issue is one of the key elements of the BIM of highways — the common data environment (CDE). The BIM section opens with two articles on the topic of CDE. One of them reflects on the role of CDE as the main customer tool for managing all processes and information flows. In another, practicing designers tell the story of the concept of CDE, give an overview of the regulatory framework and offer the domestic tool Ingipro for deploying CDE. The CAD section presents the GeoReader software for creating a model of the internal structure of roads. Another article reveals the capabilities of the new IndorCAD system BIM tools focused on changing organizational approaches to project development. The GIS section contains an article that analyzes the readiness of the existing road infrastructure for the massive use of highly automated vehicles. Once again, on the pages of our journal you will find an overview of the practical application of GIS IndorRoad, this time in the State Company Avtodor. The person of the issue is Yury Emmanuilovich Vasiliev, Professor, Doctor of Sciences, head of the chair MADSTU (MADI).
